Studies on the Stability of Drugs, ¥°
Investigation into the stabilitiy of sulpyrine preparations in aqueous solutions.
Studies on the stability and mechanism of decomposition of the components in liquid preparations have been reported.
We, authors detected a substance considered to be a amine-derivative as well as methylamino-antyprine and sodium hydroxymethane sulfonate, hydrolysis products of sulpyrine.
We allowed to stand prepared sulpyrine aqueous solutions of various range of pH(1.1~10.0) for 14 days at 50¢ª and checked its stability by isolating sulpyrine and determining the content.
It was found that the most optimal pH for stability of wulpyrine in liquid preparations was 6.
Hereafter, we are going to investigate into the stability of sulpyrine aqueous solution according to the temperature and time, mechanism of decomposition and stabilizer of sulpyrine preparations.
